We've all heard that the children of today are likely to change careers many times and that the jobs of the future don't even exist yet. What does that mean for us as parents? How do we empower our kids with the real life learning skills that they are going to need to enter this new world? Surely there is a greater way to help them succeed than with NAPLAN scores and mountains of homework. Education isn't about learning to just survive in today's world but learning to THRIVE freely, happily and wholeheartedly.
At Quest, we know the importance of providing opportunities for adults to keep growing and developing so they can assist their children to reach their peak potential and learn how to nurture the seeds of greatness that we know are within them and us! As parents, it's important to enjoy our own learning journeys as well as those of our children.
PEAK workshops are dynamic, practical, engaging and FUN explorations of the physical, mental and emotional basis of how we learn, with an emphasis on experiential activities that you'll be able to share with your families. Gather a group of friends and book a workshop which suits your interests.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who teaches the workshops?
Workshops are led by Saani Bennetts. Saani is a fairy godparent, lifelearning facilitator and creative genius. She holds a current poetic licence, a B.A (Education), a Ph.D in Cubby Buildingand has been a passionate lifelearning since birth. Saani has been teaching and researching innovative and leading-edge education for over 15 years. Her teaching experience includes working with adults and children of all ages, as well as teaching in a diverse range of schools, community organisations and also with home-based learners.
In 2007, Saani founded Quest Lifelearning - an educational organisation committed to informing, empowering and inspiring people about education and learning. Saani is blessed to have a life she adores and in her spare time, she enjoys learning new things just for fun. When she's not busy encouraging people to express their brilliance, she can usually be found cooking up some new Grand Plans and plotting an educational revolution.
What if I want to attend a workshop but don't want to organise a group?
That's fine. Simply contact us and we'll let you know of any other groups planned which you can join in with.
What are your minimum and maximum numbers?
Minimum numbers are usually 6 people. The maximum is 12 for small groups. Saani is able to run workshops for large numbers of people too. Large groups simply require a different teaching style. Different minimum and maximum numbers and costs apply for large groups.
Is there any age limit for participants? Can my kids join in?
These are workshops for parents however if you have a child or teen who is interested enough to participate, that's aboslutely fine. Older children and teens are particularly welcome.
Can I bring my kids with me?
Yes. If you have babies or younger children, they will generally be welcome. We will work out before the workshop how best to cater for children who may be present. Saani is not bothered by children coming in and out provided other parents are also understanding of having young children present. It is generally not hard to ensure arrangements for children which suit everyone.
Is is just for homeschooling parents?
Definitely not. These workshops are designed for parents of kids in school and out of school. Quest does run programs for homeschooling children but our adult workshops are for all parents and Saani has over ten years of teaching experience in a wide variety of schools.
What is the role of the host?
The host commits to organising the group - inviting friends and inviting them to invite their friends. It is generally not hard to get a group of 6 together. The host will liaise with participants and Saani to find a suitable time and venue for the workshops and will be responsible for collecting money. Workshops have a set fee regardless of participants which must be met, so the more people in the group, the cheaper the workshop will be for everyone.
The host receives a special gift of Lifelearning products. Other than getting a group together and arranging a time, venue and collecting or arranging payments, there is nothing else the host has to do.
